Today I saw something absolutely amazing from Norman Reedus.  I was attending Horrorhound in Columbus and was in line to meet Norman when a security guard asked me if I would allow a young woman in a wheelchair to go ahead of me.  I’m not sure what her disability was, but she was obviously wheel chair bound and had breathing issues of somekind as well.  

Norman came out from behind the table and talked with her, signed her chair, and took pictures with her.  Then, he disappeared.  Funny enough even security didn’t know where he went.  When he came back, he had a “scare bear” in his hands that he bought at a vender and gave it to her.  The look on that young girls face was priceless.  My makeup artist and I were in tears.  It was one of the most amazing displays of human compassion I have ever seen.  

What most people don’t know about Norman, is he is not only a performing artist, he is also a visual artist.  He is a great photographer.  You can see some of his work on his website: www.bigbaldhead.com 

I did get to meet him.  I gave him 2 of my photography books and a TEAM DARK tshirt.  He was surprised I knew that he was a photographer, and was so flattered by my gifts he came out from behind the table and kissed me!  

He is by far the nicest most sincere celeb I have ever met.  And now I can have the bragging rights of being kissed by ass kicker Daryl Dixon!
